Our Veterans Affairs Committee
Our Mission is to serve veterans: ensuring that they are respected for their service and are recognized for the sacrifices made for us.
We have established a working relationship with the VA Care Center at Perry Point, Maryland, where we make quarterly visits to bring Lodge donated items to these hospitalized veterans.
Our Lodge helps promote services to veterans within our geographical serving area of Talbot & Caroline Counties.
All Lodge members, especially veterans are welcome to join our committee and participate in our visits to Perry Point. If interested, please contact
Dick Palazzolo, Dpalaz@gmail.com, (410) 822-7129
As long as there are veterans,
Elks Lodge #1622 will never forget them.

As part of its drug prevention campaign, the Elks Foundation has sponsored internationally known motivational speaker, Milton Creagh, in several hard hitting video messages. Raised on Chicago’s Southside, Mr. Creagh, also known as ‘Big Milt’, is known for his inspirational talks. He speaks to more than 200,000 young adults annually, and is one of the most in-demand public speakers in America. Milt has been a guest on CNN, TNN, Fox on Family, and many other programs. We invite Elks members, their families, and the public in general (especially our youth) to listen to the short videos below.
